The idea for our company was born from a deeply personal experience. When my grandfather began forgetting simple but essential things, even drinking enough water, our family felt a growing sense of helplessness.
My mother was overwhelmed, and we had to rely entirely on nursing home staff. That constant feeling of uncertainty sparked a question in me: Could technology help families like ours feel safer and more connected? Driven by that thought, I began developing an AI-powered wearable designed to support seniors and people with impairments in their daily lives. Early on, I received incredible guidance from Joanneum Research, especially from Silvia Russegger and Lucas Paletta , whose insights helped shape the foundation of my idea.
Through the inspiring startup ecosystem in Graz including the Unicorn, Ideentriebwerk, Gründungsgarage, and the Science Park, my vision grew clearer and stronger. Along the way, I met amazing people like Uwe Adorjan and Michael Weißensteiner, which continue to help transform this vision into reality.
What began as a family struggle has become a mission: to create technology that brings safety, dignity, and peace of mind to those who need it most.
